Tactical f*****g substitution. He always sub the players that play in the same position even if we're loosing. Can't he see that sometimes formation isn't working? Does he even know that he doesn't have to play with the formation he started? Today Faurlin was needed in the midfield because Diakite and Granero were stretched across midfield as rag dolls at a tea party. We were lucky Arsenal was poor also.
have to say that i'd have been happy if Cisse had come in for Hoillett rather than BZ, just think Hoillett got a lucky goal in last game, and really takes too long for him to set the ball as he likes it, and not get it moving fast enough

Yes I understand that, but to be honest SWP looked ineffective 5 years now. And yes, Hughes always makes late sub, why don't give someone a go in 60 minute rather than in 80. And Hoilett as a second striker is just a waste of him as a player. Put him on the wing, Hughes.
Hughes only has a couple of formation, 442 and 4411. So the only way he would ever change the formation is Cisse for Hoilett. He is incapable of making tactical decisions, putting SWP who is the worst winger in the division up against the hopeless Santos proved that.
