Just a few depressing questions for you

So with the OS Forum shut down making some fans even more despondent about the club is this going to add to the problems where the team is concerned will this hinder DC's chances of trying to sign up new players?

Will this very low club morale put off players wanted to come to us?

Will it be difficult to bring in players who play football for the football and not just for the money?

Are we just going to end up with more money grabbing players who are going to make are situation worse?

hey we're getting a 'root and branch' reform, according to Higgs so everything will be wonderful.

Nurse nurse I need my medicine!!!

If there's one thing that makes this club strong and that's the loyal and loud support from Gasheads. At Conference level who wouldn't want to come to us? Most footballers would rather be roared on by 5-6000 passionate Gasheads than turn out in front of 900 at FGR for example.

It's now down to DC's transfer acumen and whether Higgs is willing to back him in the market. We can't make the mistakes which saw us recruit the likes of Bond, Gillespie and Beardsley - it's time for hungry players on the up.

i think DC will improve things massively.

JW apparently was in negotiations with over 15 strikers during the loan window and not one wanted to come to us. why? i think the recruitment side of things have been a joke in recent seasons and very amateurish. then add what players have been allowed to do in their free time along with not being bothered about turning up to training along with the drinking culture (and the alleged drug taking culture) which has whole made us look very unprofessional.

DC will be making each current player sign a code of conduct agreement and each new player will have to sign the code of conduct before signing their contract. already the current players and any new player will have club rules to abide by so cant get away with what has been allowed in recent seasons. that alone makes us sound and look more professional. we are a big fish for the conference and you will see a lot of players who will fancy their chances of being part of a team that gets us back to league 2. the board will say they have funds and use the stadium as a selling point and that alone could work in getting players in the door. but i think the changes that DC will make will be for the better and make us a better choice than a lot of other clubs.

Don't think they've been bothered about the playing side since 2008...
