I have noticed that since returning from injury Clarkson tends to replace Anyinsah in the last 25/30 mins.

Do you think that he will ever regain a starting berth, as since Ward arrived ,the changes made in personell (JJ etc) formation and tactics it appears that unless an injury forces a change he is destined for the bench and plays outside midfield.

I am not avocating that he should start the game,do you think that Ward will let him go in the summer?

Or does he have a future with us?

I think we should try to keep him, but whether or not he wants to stay is another matter.
He still has that touch of class, and whenever he has come on in recent matches he
has added something to our threat.
Ward has a plan to get us out of trouble; but when we are safe he may want to play
a different formation/style, and I would really like to see Clarkson up with Brunt.
However Clarkson himself may feel he could be playing at a higher level, so it would be down
to Ward to convince him that he could help us get to a higher level.
Another factor is how much we are paying him. If he's on a good whack then Ward may
prefer to get two in and one out.

would like to keep him. but like P49 says his wages i bet is highest at the club and JW may need that money. but think he strengthens our team so must try and keep him if we can.

Clarkson has yet to fully prove himself at this level to look upwards, works very hard it looks as if we have not seen the best of him yet positionally or playing. He may yet form a link with Brunt or Richards only time and games will allow that to happen.

As for the wages Ward may wish to offload him as P49 said and pick up some other players with a better fit and not so costly.

Personally I like him however Mcghee was forced to play him in odd positions definately not an out and out midfielder who can tackle like JJ also lacks pace to get back and support defenders when needed, positives include good vision and footballing brain best used as a link man just in the hole.
