http://www.first4lcfc.co.uk/blog/esteban-cambiasso-signs-new-contract-at-leicester-city/ ... fresh from Proud's favourite source ... hope he's right ...
"He's signed a 1 year contract. It's a new contract rather than an extension. As posted elsewhere he was waiting for he manager situation to be sorted before formally agreeing the deal. I think it's fair to assume that the owners 'big name' policy will begin to pay off with signing like this. We are targeting higher profile players now. Kante due to discuss/agree terms later this week. New bid for Austin next week." Qwerty's words, not mine. From memory, he doesn't post much but get a lot right. He's far more creditable than the likes of Bert or Fouth_Official.
I bet this kind of thing really winds him up every other day Sunday "i hear your brothers signed for Leicester" ... "Nope" Monday "i hear your brothers signed for West Ham" ... "Nope" Tuesday "i hear your brothers signed for Leicester" ... "Nope" Wednesday "what about now...." ... "how did you get my phone number!" I guess thats the life of an agent though, denying everything until its officially announced
Although i'd like this all to be true, i think alot of people are going to put 2 and 2 together and come out with the common sense version of 4, but things don't always go as smooth as this imo. I would be surprised if Ranieri has done more than call Cambiasso at this point, i don't expect anything to be done until the friendlies start.
Do you suffer from memory loss or have you somehow managed to completely forget the Sven era?! Tell me how please!!
Come on Sven signings was all crap Kyle Naughton and Schmeichel was great signings Nugent was a very good signing, Konch was decent (purely because how long he has been here) The rest was crap Look at QPR and realise chasing names isnt the way to go about things
In retrospect yes they were crap but weren't at the time. Other signings included Beckford who was a guy scoring regularly in the Premier League, Matt Mills who was considered the next big thing and was a coup, Yakubu was very good and I don't think there was anyone else(?). Konchesky done his job really well despite what all you haters say - he must be half decent if Saint Pearson never replaced him Beckford and Mills were ****e but don't go and rewrite history by claiming that we always thought they were as we were really exited at their signings.
