Out for months and not expected back until somewhen in 2024 apparently. Some kind of rare foot/toe injury.

 

We're not having much luck with injuries. We need that international break asap.

 

At least we have quite a few left wingers, or players that are comfortable playing there, unfortunately the two Joe's are two of them but are also injured.

Hopefully Joelinton is close.

 

Shame for the lad was hoping to see him settle in and play a few cup games etc.

We have a number of players who can play there though, so shouldn't be terrible for the squad and some players like Anderson and Hall with potentially more game time could be a good thing for their development: Gordon, Hall, Anderson, Isak, Joelinton, Willock and Murphy can all cover out there.

 

With Gordon, Murphy and Miggy we have plenty of options, Barnes can be a secret weapon when he comes back.

With the return of Joelinton and Willock soon, we'll be in a better place soon.

 

Bizarre injury. We should be fine without him.

Gordon will do just nicely.

He was flying last season, and a key part of the team for long periods. He ain't ****, can't carry the team by himself, but can definitely contribute.
