An important match for Pompey tonight as we try to avoid three things: 10 straight defeats, 20 games without a win and going bottom of the league. With relegation to League Two already accepted by all but those with glasses that are tinted bluer than the great stone of Galveston, it would be great to put three points on the board tonight, especially for those making the long pilgrimage to Victoria Park from the South coast for a Tuesday night game! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21411499 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21332818
Someone called him "viewtoakill" - anyway he's there but not on the bench - questions for Guy after the game I think.
Someone's just tweeted......... 1 point for Pompey and a clean sheet - Benedict's last miracle as Pope
viewtoakill was on the subs bench after all - apparently something went wrong with the team sheet and he got left off it.
I've just got back from the Brentford game, which I went to with some friends from Uni. It was a great game- and Brentford scored two, fantastic, long range goals, from no build up play at all! I recommend you have a watch of them, one Sky upload the highlights onto their website. I was constantly checking the Portsmouth score on my phone. I think our lads did well tonight
At least we didn't make it 10 losses on the trot, which would have been a club record. It is, however, the first time we've gone 20 games without a win
That is quite a long journey to make on a cold winter's night I was thinking about them whilst sitting at home, listening on the radio, gas fire on, glass of Jack Daniells in my hand........
