Right - I've ordered a bunch for my mates to attend, but over did it and looks like I have 3 spares. Would anyone be interested in them before I cancel my order? They are for west upper, block P (near the halfway line). Prices are £10 adults.
Yep - and at a reduced rate. Got informed of it late last night so was straight on the blower this morning as want to bring an entourage. They are £10 till the end of March I believe (£5 for juniors and seniors). No restricted sale either. The club are going for it!!
It was a Tuesday night and as with most midweek fixtures people work and couldn't make it or basically had more important things to do before getting up the following morning and going back to work. That the official figures reflect our season ticket holders is well known, but it still meant more than a couple of thousand truning up and paying on the night. We would all like every fixture to be a weekend rather than midweek affair and then we could have better financial results as well as football results. That our official gate was 13k is impressive for mid week for a league 1 club. That the poor result might impact on the attendance on Saturday is a problem. Before you ask, yes i was there.
