Hodgson has confirmed that Joe Hart will leave the squad and head back to Manchester, which leaves Fraser Forster favourite to start the friendly against Scotland. It will be his first England cap since joining Saints.
Despite Forster playing for Saints, I realise that Hart has done nothing wrong and he will struggle to displace him. Good he gets a chance though, as you never know when you need to replace a keeper (which is what worries me at Saints).
Hart was at fault for Slovenia's goal, his positioning was all wrong. Don't suppose that'll cost him his place, but he's shown himself error prone in the past. I don't see any reason why Forster can't at least stake a claim for the position.
I wonder if you knew, but Hart isn't playing in Scotland. He's not travelling apparently. Foster was sub-keeper, but I wonder if Forster will make a return to Celtic Park..? EDIT: Oops..! I'm on the very thread that states it. I did read it elsewhere. As I keep saying, read up the threads pepys. Yes TSS, I will.
At least you left it there, TSS...and not just one of those mystifying dots that we all resort to. And, of course, as a moderator, you could have removed it altogether. A man of some principle, I see
