If you had to pick a starting XI for Wembley now (assuming Yun gets clearance from Korea) what would it be??? Yun and Zamora have both staked a claim for a start with their performances at Wigan, and Morrison has done himself no favours at all in either game. With that in mind, here's mine.... Green Simpson Dunne Onouha Hill Hoilett Barton O'Neill Kranjcar Yun Austin Bobby and Ravel to come on and mix it up if needed.
Bobby certainly has been a super sub so deserves a start on the bench. I wonder if your midfield looks very slightly toothless! Joking apart, looks like a great mix of experience, skill and speed, particulalry down the wings.
I am a long term defender of bobby (with a posting history to prove it!), but even I don't think he should start. His hip can't take it. Part of why he's been playing to his potential recently is because he's being managed well ie he's been asked to play 20 minutes and rested otherwise.
Given what happened on Monday, we need to be able to switch to 4-4-2 without bringing on a sub, if that's needed. I'd go with that team, with a switch to the following if needed: Green Simpson Dunne Onouha Hill Kranjcar Barton O'Neill Yun Hoilett Austin Then be able to bring on Bobby and Morrison when / if we need to chase the game, or Henry for Kranky if we need to close it down.
