    Had a mare today!
Selecting Mackie and the plain terrible SWP ahead of Hoilett. What is going on there?
At 0-2, switching our formation to a ludicrous looking 4-3-1-2, with SWP out on the far right and no-one on the left, leaving Downing and Johnson the freedom of LR down our left.
Taking off our best finisher for a defensive midfielder at half time, whilst leaving SWP on was baffling as we were 0-3 down at the time.
Bringing Fabio on and playing 5 at the back for the last 15 minutes whilst 0-3 down.
Never bringing on Hoilett at all.

A very bad day at the office from Harry imo.

Cant really blame him tbh - the players at his disposal are awful and have no willingness to work hard.

The midfield was a utter disgrace today.

On his interview he said there was no point going for it and conceding more, he tightened up I suppose to protect the goal difference. He obviously still thinks we can stay up but the whole match was shambolic from our point of view, I'm still surprised I stayed to the end. Thank God I'm not going on Wednesday, I fear we could get a bigger hiding than last season...

Col, we do not seem to have anybody who can get hold of the ball, pass it around and stretch the opposition. Faurlin can do this. Those that seem to know Granero well, claim he can do this as well. When we seem to atack it's as individuals and not as a team. Brix touched on this earlier. We just have individuals running into dead ends and losing the ball easily. We have no build up play. Its shocking and amateurish to watch. I think AF could be managing us at the moment and it would not make a difference. Too many players playing well below par and just not working hard enough.

SWP offers nothing. I really don't want to see him wear a QPR jersey again.

I posted earlier that at this stage we need to clear the dead wood out as quickly as possible. We have 8 players that need to go ASAP. Cesar, Cisse, SWP, Ferdinand, Barton, Park, Boswinga and M'Bia. Their wages will kill us in the Champ. Its not all bad news. If we build on our young players, Traore, Adel, Hoilett, Hogan, and Onouha and add Mackie, Derry, Green, and AJ, we will have a pretty decent Champ team.

On paper he should be - but has shown very very little of it. Mackie deserves to play at the moment, whatever his limits as a player are he is giving 100%.

Those who say we should have a pretty decent Championship team need a wake-up call. This team plays with little heart or desire, they wouldn't be any higher than Bolton, Blackburn or Wolves who went down last year and were not as awful as we are now (Wolves were close). I watched the Brighton v Watford game last night and Watford would have hammered us today, they have pace, cohesion and no little skill. We are, frankly, a disgrace...

Agree about Watford. I also watched that game and they played very well. That Vydra looked a good little player.

That's the type of player we should be looking at, his pace tore Brighton to shreds...

Fair points Sooper. Just trying to pull some positives from somewhere. Just want to see those high earning sh**es gone ASAP. I do however think that what will be left will give us a pretty decent foundation for next year.

Not so sure about that mate. (Well, maybe Phillips!) He played well at home v Everton but other than that he's been a massive let down.

Mackie is a marginally better option for me.

My hope is that Harry puts together a team that may make a gallant effort in the remainder of this season and forms the basis for a team that can hit the ground running next season and give us a chance of coming straight back up. Sadly, I think one or two of our 'battlers' may not be good enough for next season, Harry has some tough decisions to make but I'd trust him to get them right...
