Rangers will no doubt get thumped today at United, but when Dirty Harry gets the open cheque book in the January transfer window he will in my opinion keep QPR up. This will of course mean thqt he will send the Scummers down alongside Reading and Villa. You heard it here first from SB3!<laugh>

I've put a poll on their board. So far the vote is 10 for Harry keeping them up and 18 for them going down.

I wonder if, assuming he brings in a half dozen or so new faces in, in January, whether he will loan a couple of players to his 'spiritual home' to help our survival!

My guess is that this will depend upon Redknapp's perception of the quality of his squad. At Saints, he brought in a number of players like Olivier Bernard , Graeme Le Saux (from recollection ) and Jamie Redknapp and the proceeded to criticise the calibre of the squad in inherited. As a consequence , the moral plummeted and the team ultimately seemed resigned to relegation. As most Saints fans and they will tell you Redknapp was not really interested in the club and his tenure was a disaster. I think that if he is successful in the few few games, he could turn QPR down. However, a failure to register points (with a team that has yet to win this season) could see his reign at Loftus Road become a catastrophy.

For me Redknapp's abilities are open to question. With money to spend on quality players as with the case of Portsmouth and Spurs he has demonstrated that he has genuine coaching skills. Take the money away and I feel the limited motivational skills and ability to alienate members of his playing staff will see a marked deminuation in his performance. With Hughes in charge, QPR were dead in the water - I sense that Redknapp has nothing to lose in taking control of a team most pundits consider to already be doomed.

I'm sure you're masturbating furiously at the prospect.

QPR are going down regardless, that is pretty much set in stone.

As for Saints- well, if they're still in the relegation zone at Christmas, they'll go down as well.

Reading/Villa I predict will complete the relegation trio .. although good luck to all those teams! <ok>

Hopefully he's finding his goalscoring touch again! <ok>

And this is all the same day that Norway beat Sweden 30-28 in a handball warm-up match, after they lost last night to Denmark.

    We've got Finland next, tomorrow!

We're playing in the Moderlingen Cup- a warm up tournament before every event each December, where all the Scandinavian teams play eachother.

    So a good day :)

I wonder how 'Arry will handle QPR's revolting "spitting" striker Djibril Cisse ?!

Good luck to him on that one.............

Didn't get a chance to post my reaction to the equaliser yesterday, so here it is. Get the **** in!!!!

That almost makes up for Farnborough getting slaughtered 7-0 by local rivals Woking in the FA Trophy.

It's not just that " sewer rat" as Neil Warnock called him that Arry has to be wary off, Wooperts. there's also the monstrosity that calls itself Joey Barton, when he returns from his loan to Marseille !!

Great thread sb, although you failed to mention the 7 games you have lost in a row in league 1, but lets push that under the table for now.
As for Harry, I totally agree with PL, Harry is a cock and will try to buy his way out with QPR but I believe they will go down any way.

    Err, the run's over now .. ??

We drew away to Coventry last game, so we're starting another winning run now, wait and see ;)

Harry says he wants to bring in Peter Crouch (no surprises there then!) and David Beckham- dream on 'Arry- you'll end up with Bendtner and Jordan Henderson/Joe Cole/ Stewart Downing .. or some other flop <laugh>

Good evening lads (and ladies if there's any on here)

Just out of interest, how good was Harry when he was with you?
What was his overall record like?
When did you love affair end with him? Was it when he went to your rivals, or had the rot set in before then?

I have a mate who is a Pomoey fanatic. He was so fanatical that he named his budgie Biley Bird.
I used to go to some of the Pompey games with him back in the early 80s before your rise up the leagues. Always had a soft spot since then for your boys.
