Harry tips QPR player to make England World Cup squad 23 Nov 2013 08:00 Green has every chance of being included for Rio 2016 reckons Harry QPR boss Harry Redknapp believes there is room for Rob Green in the England World Cup squad. After back-to-back defeats for the three lions this week, Harry reckons his keeper, who earlier supplied a club record eight clean sheets, should be in contention as one of the three custodians headed to Rio next summer. He said: âRobâs been great for us. âItâs up to Roy (coach, Hodgson) and Joe Hartâs is number one at the moment, but Rob wouldnât let anyone down â thatâs for sure if he got the opportunity to play again. âRobâs a top keeper in my opinion, and thereâs no reason he shouldnât be pushing to get back into the squad for the World Cup â itâs not impossible.â
Shame that Woy has said there will be no more additions to the squad, shows how absurd making a statement like that is, especially if there are a few key injuries...
Woy is a wan-ker ................. The sooner he substitutes himself, the better for England. I can't see England doing any better than they are presently playing because Woy doesn't know how to excel / over achieve. Everything he has done in life has been 'take no risks / more of the same' I do feel for the English fans, they are completely hamstrung going into the WC. Rant over.
