The bookies are posting Harry as the favourite to be the next manager of Chelsea. Have we heard any denials from Harry? Our Harry, the mouth of the South, has made a career of talking to the media often saying too much. In fact it's my least favourite aspect of the way Harry goes about his business. If he is quiet on this potential move to Chelsea then for me the signs are that there must be something in it. He has family connections there and loyalty has never bothered him before. If he is going then the sooner the better, Levy will need to sort this position and fast. I'm not really into discussing rumours but I am interested to know if any of you have heard/read anything from Harry on this one.
I posted something about this few days ago, and then the next day, he rubbished the rumours, but since then, the speculation has been mounting, and he hasn't said no to these rumours. It looks fairly likely that he's on his way to chelsea, then behind bars from the court case. Big shame as he's done alot for us in a short time, but if he's going, you're right, he's gotta go quick, so we have time to install a manager before the window opens, so the new guy can buy who he wants. That was part of the problem Roy Hodgson suffered at Liverpool, he didn't get alot of the signings he wanted done
Spurf i'm starting to think your not too fond of Harry(Best SEASON ever !!) Redknapp or is it my imagination!!
I quite like him really, I just wish he would shut up a bit with all the blabbing to the media. He's done a good job with the squad, but tactics, and diplomacy are not his strong points. Have we heard from him yet?
Harry has got a track record of jumping ship when a better offer comes along and to be fair to him he did say that he would take the England job if it were offered. This would be the only reason that I could see him turning down Chelsea, so that in a year's time when Fabio leaves he'll get the National team manager position instead. But as pointed out earlier, Harry's silence on this is unusual. He's often the first one to blab to the media about his next move.
Given he quit Pompey because he wanted to be in charge of transfers and didn't want to work under a DoF, why would he join Chelsea - where he won't be in charge of transfers, and work under a DoF? Somehow this minor inconvenience has been ignored by the bookies and the various tabloids...
Well he could join them for 3 years get sacked after one get paid off and then take the England job!!
The silence ................................................................................................................................................................... Yes Harry? did you say something?
Rebel,I doubt very much that any manager will stay at Chelsea for 3 years,I just don't see it. I also don't see Harry as a Chelsea man,he wouldn't last a year.
Hopefully Harry isn't stupid enough to really think he'd be a long term manager there. Abrahmovic doesn't know the meaning of the phrase long term. he is always thinking of this season, and this season only, otherwise, he might've stuck with some of the managers he removed, especially Mourinho
Right Random, but if a manager arrives and is sacked a short time later that will be 7 managers in 9 years or something like that and Chelsea could start to feel the pinch. Harry will not be the next Chelsea manager if they are wooing Guadiola or how ever it's spelt. Modric won't go there either.
They got the job in the first place, proving your logic to be...what's the word? You know the one, the opposite of correct? Dammit, it's on the tip of my tongue...
