Harry Redknapp has revealed QPR have received enquires from the Middle East for midfielder Stephane Mbia.

The former Marseille man has featured 14 times for Spanish side Sevilla after being shipped out on loan in the summer.

Mbia is out of contract at the end of the campaign and the R's boss is keen to get the 27-year-old, along with keeper Julio Cesar and Ji-Sung Park, off the books for good.

He said: “We’ve had some interest in Mbia. A couple of clubs from Dubai have been on about him. I don’t think he’s been playing regularly at Sevilla.

“I don’t know what deals the chairman did; we need to sell them really. The keeper [Julio Cesar] needs to go because he’s a big earner.”

Surely if he's out of contract with us in the summer he can sign pre-contract deals with clubs in January, so how would we get any money for him now?

At least he seemed to put a shift in and seemed to care. Loved watching him give his shirt away too. Wish him well.
