bad move if true, everton are a great club and he is adored there. its not a step up or a step down so he would be silly to move....

Considering the way you were saying that brendan was going to spurs, as Harry was nailed on for England, this latest statement from you is quite a surprise. Don't you remember at all the stuff you were posting a little while ago ? <whistle>

I would be suprised if Laudrup went to spurs, just because some moron posted a rumour on twatter doesnt make it the truth, problem is that people re-post and it becomes a story even though it might be posted by a guy that has no clue of whats going on.

Redknapp is an average manager IMO and he would destroy the swans within 4 months if he came here, not that he would anyway!!

Spurs will be looking for a top notch guy with a proven track record, very much unlike laudrup !! if Laudrup did go to spurs and ****ed it up thats his career pretty much finished, if he failed at swansea thenn he would still be considered for work as its "little old swansea relegation favourites" he has a win win by coming here, if he keeps us up expect the likes of Spurs and other big clubs to take note then but not before <ok>

    "Syria by all accounts"

    Don't mention accounts. <laugh>

Not that keen on Redknapp either. He's alright but has never struck me as the most loyal individual, but who is in management? Laudrup not a big enough name for Spurs and doesn't have enough of a track record. Suits us down to the ground though. If the Laudrup deal doesn't happen it must because of wage demands because as Jan Molby has said, on paper it's a match made in heaven.

Laudrup already stated that his next job will be carefully chosen when he will literally interviews and researches the board and club/people he will work for.

Swansea board .... faultless (check out the previous assignments, lack of sackings/vitriol and subsequent excellent press on the way the club is run). Daniel Levy .... well he writes his own headlines and HE clearly runs the show (exactly why Laudrup left Mallorca)!

    LAUDRUP IS A JACK!!!

Nice try at a wum Stan ... glad to see your less abusive nowadays and at least entering debate/joviality!

Personally I am sorry to see him go. He was certainly a character and I think Spurs will be worse off without him. True they went on a bad run towards the end but I'm sure his links with the England team had something to do with that.

It was bad luck Chelsea costing them a CL place but early in the season Spurs were playing some fabulous stuff - voted the most attractive team in the league to watch at one time. One thing sticks in my mind and that was the post match interview he gave after our game at the Liberty when he was most generous in his praise for us. Contrast that with some of the surly beggars who hardly had a good word to say about us after we'd played their teams to death.

I think it's a pity he will be lost to the British game and I wish 'Arry all the best wherever he goes.

I would have given Harry the English job , think he really got his nose out of joint when he wasn't picked . Feel he would have brought more bite to the English game . Could see him retiring , hope not .
