The R’s drew a blank against managerless Crystal Palace on Sunday as the two sides played out a dull goalless draw at Loftus Road. Charlie Austin has hit 12 goals in the Premier League this season, but his team-mates have struggled badly in front of goal. Redknapp is eyeing loan deals in January, with Jermain Defoe his top target, but he admits it could be a struggle to get deals over the line. “You need four strikers, you need to be able to change the game, bring on some pace, get behind people,” Redknapp said. “We can’t, I haven’t got anyone to freshen it up. I’ve got Bobby (Zamora) and Charlie (Austin) - (Eduardo) Vargas looks happier out on the right.” Redknapp added: “The trouble is where are you going to find a striker on loan? “People will come up with names and they’ll be useless - ‘Harry what about him?’ Good luck. “We lost Loic Remy on the deadline (in the summer) and that really cost us. “If I had Remy here he’d have eight to 10 goals by now. Perhaps they’ll loan him back - he’s not getting a game at Chelsea - but I don’t think they will.”
I hope not, he has burnt his bridges as far as I am concerned. He chose to sit on the Scum bench instead of helping us. Just another mercenary that we should avoid.
With Air Asia likely to go bust, TF is not going to have any cash for transfers. He will have to focus on his main business now
Hey, if we can take back Barton & Adel, why not Remy ? Do l dislike him, sure ............... do l want him back to get us up the table ................. you bet ya! We've taken back worse.
I understand the point your making, just playing devils advocate, Adel can't make the team and Joey's place is being questioned by many. Option of very last resort for me re. Remy.
When Remy went to Chelsea I'm sure he thought he would get more games than he has..... You can't blame him for wanting to go there but he must be pissed off...
You are a total prick Have some respect for those families affected by the very sad events in the Far East You are showing Scum fans in their true light
You are a moron my friend - go polish your pish trophies cos it's obviously the only pleasure you get out of life as you have shown yourself to have a blatant disregard for the tragedy of all aboard that flight and their poor families. I hope, for your sake, that death never darkens your door with a tragedy of similar proportions, because I guarantee that if that did happen we would enjoy ourselves at your expense - you dick.....
Agree he is a total w@@@@@. No respect for those families in such a sad time. F### off you tool those sort of comments belong on your scum board.
sadly he is for real. The guy is a troll, not even a fan. He just spends all his days looking up stuff about us so he can try and wind us up. Even wanted to be friends with me once and sent me a message. (weird) The bloke is creepy
Anyway, to lighten up the mood, Re garding Remy. I'd take him back in a flash. Not because i like him but purely because he does "exactly what it says on the tin"...unlike so many other of our "big" names. Gauranteed goals from him. Got nothing against him going to Chelsea as he was always too good for us and always going to leave. He publically said he wanted CL footy so at least he was open and honest about it. I dont get the dislike? When he played for us, he always gav his all and always tried....can fault ambition.
