http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19292797 Harry Redknapp and Mick McCarthy join Match of the Day The spectacular summer of sport continues on BBC One as Gary Lineker and Colin Murray bring fans the full weekend's round-up of Barclays Premier League action. They return with Match of the Day (Saturday, 22:30 BST) and Match of the Day 2 (Sunday, 22:25 BST) in its new BBC One slot. After a busy summer, Gary returns to his familiar home on Saturday nights with some new additions to the punditry line up. Popular members of the BBC's Euro 2012 team Harry Redknapp and Mick McCarthy will appear alongside familiar faces Alan Hansen and Alan Shearer throughout the season. Former Tottenham manager Redknapp and ex-Wolves boss McCarthy will bring their considerable managerial expertise and experience to the country's most popular football programme. On Sunday, Colin will continue to bring his irreverent style to proceedings as he looks back at the day's games alongside a mix of these four big names - plus special guest pundits. Great, now we get to see 'arry every week What do you think of this? And who would your best pundits be?
Is there no where on God's Earth we can be free of Harry. I hope they realise that they will need a car window before he will give his views.
I have no problem with this. It's football people talking about football. I find Harry more agreeable than most managers, and I enjoy hearing what he has to say. He definitely knows his stuff.
He does know a lot more about current football than a lot of presenters out there... right Mr Lawrenson?
Even more reason not to watch it ...its bad enough with the gay love fest of the two alans , lawro and Gary as it is
Harry will be ok, but I can't stand that boring twat McCarthy. He sends me to sleep every time he talks.
MOTD have also announced a new car-based studio, where the pundits will be speaking out of a window. This is to accomodate new pundit Harry Redknapp. Seriously though, I'd love to see him talk about us
I reckon within 10 mins of McCarthy and melty face droning on and on, with arry's cliche ridden summarrising I will kill myself.
Pity they seem to have lost Lee Dixon to ITV - I think he is quite good whereas Shearer doesn't add much.
Redknapp was very gracious when talking about Saints and Adkins today: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19270749
Hopefully they'll move Harry to pasture before long. He can graze merrily alongside Ron Atkinson and Saint & Greavsie....
