Just seen this on BBC website. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/15549314.stm Wish him all the best.
I hate to sound cynical, but I have to agree with Inda on this one. Get well soon if it's anything at all troubling, Mr Redknapp.
Hey! Did you just call me cynical in a bad way? The Sun are saying it's for exploratory tests. I've changed my opinion. I'm now going with a CT Scan using high contrast dye as it can make you feel yucky afterwards.
He might sometimes look like he's one fry up short of a cardiac arrest but it just seems like too much of coincidence that the week we travel halfway around the world for a match very few give a **** about, he happens to have to have an operation lined up. It's defo and ingrowing toenail or, more likely, nothing at all.
It could be because Alexandre Gaydamak told him he'd have a few heavies waiting for him at the airport...
After he is 64- strange things happen to you when you get to that age. The Beatles wrote a song about it-" When I get older losing my hair many years from now...."
Bit late for the snip I'd have thought. Eitherway, I'm sure 'Arry will be on SSN to explain all soon enough.
Bloody hell. I hope this is just rumour... http://www.express.co.uk/football/view/281288/Heart-surgery-for-Redknapp Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp will undergo minor heart surgery on Wednesday. The 64-year-old went to hospital on Tuesday night to undergo tests and will now have an operation on a minor blockage in one of his arteries, Press Association Sport understands. Tottenham confirmed on Tuesday night that the former West Ham manager was set to undergo a "medical procedure" that would rule him out of the club's trip to Rubin Kazan this week. Assistant manager Kevin Bond and first-team coach Joe Jordan will take charge of the team for Thursday night's Europa League match in Russia.
Anyone have any idea how traumatic that would be for him, if true? Would he just be off his feet for a while or would it require a period of hospitalisation and rehabilitation?
it's only minor, he could be back on sunday but that's not the point. He'll be advised by his doctors now to take a break or slow down a bit... a perfect reason to take the England job.
Cheers for the information, Ensil. Hope everything's still holding up. Being a Spurs fan can't be good for the heart. I can see the Government insisting on health warnings on our tickets in the future.
