    Tbf we don't know the circumstances so I personally will reserve judgement until such time as I know the facts. There are certain situations you can't account for.

    Indeed it could have been for not wearing a face mask. I read the other day that fines are given out in Greece if people don’t wear them. Really though, who knows?

    I know what you mean, but these places the police are far from reasonable, and when it is your word against theirs you really are on a hiding to nothing. I just meant, in his position as captain he should stay clear of late night drinking as it is fraught with danger.

    I love the Greek people. **** them about and they'll deal with you accordingly.

    Just have a great time and they'll become your friends.

    It's really easy to stay out of trouble.

    I agree with you about the incident where he got arrested but there's plenty of photos and videos of him sat with a large group of people drinking. When I was his age I did drink with groups of football fans but if I was earning £190k a week and had just finished a long season and was due back at training I would have gone somewhere quieter.
