Fourth official has just linked us to them. Kane would be a season long loan from Tottenham. OLM has been saying he reckons Stewart is heading here in the summer anyway.

I would be happy with that.

I know very little about Stewart's actual ability, and even less about Kane.

Is Stewart more like Dyer or Marshall?

I don't know about being like Dyer, but he's certainly been Dire recently. <laugh>

Actually, he's been a bit better in the last couple of games, but he still looks scared to death of getting injured again and he's stepping out of everything, I don't think I've seen him attempt a single tackle this year. He's got a lot of skill, but hasn't performed for us for months, only when he first game back from his injury did he look really good(and before he was injured obviously).

I agree, he isn't like Dyer.

Mix Marshall and Dyer and you've got someone like Stewart.

Dyers pace and often poor end product with Marshalls trickery.

Not quite as fast as Dyer in fact.

Harry Kane as a younger Howard would be good and if he can get Stewart playing like he did at Hull then we'll have exactly the type of player we need.

Harry Kane would be a very good signing - did well against us remember when he scored and held his own against Bamba and Morgan.

As for Stewert - doubt we will get him as the Hull chairman won't stop being like a prick if we bid.

Any move would have to be pushed through by the player but the way OLM has spoken recently, he might have had his head tunred

I think since nigel had a word with him, stewart has eased off in order not get injured and scupper his big move...

    What about Gary Madine?

If Sheffield Wednesday don't go up then we should have a look at him.

20 goals in about 2/3rds of the season because of injury, only about 22 and would be a good long term replacement for Howard.

Especially with the new rules voted in by League clubs. Max spend of £6m next season. Not going to blow most of that on one player.

By which time i'd hope to be well out of this league.
