Now Mr Charisma has left the building the clamour has started for who we would like as our new manager. Harry seems to be the popular choice but my concern is if we get Harry will we lose Taarabt? Taarabt has matured this season and has been one of the only shining lights but 'Arry didnt fancy him at Spurs and we know when 'Arry doesnt like a player he doesnt usually change his mind, just look at the Darren Bent scenario when 'Arry fancied his wife to put certain chances away better than his England striker and eventually moved him on. I know one player doesnt make a club but I for one want Taarabt to stay and if it means sacrificing getting 'Arry then so be it!! All that aside my number one choice is Di Matteo, ex-Chelsea or not.
Non story IMO....Tarrabts a different player in a different team. Harry had players like Modric while at Spurs. Tarrabt will still play.
Like it or not, Taarabt has been our best player this season. Hopefully he will get the opportunity, although like you Mortlakeranger, I'd prefer Di Matteo over Redknapp.
there you go swords..aparently tarbs has been our best player this season..talking to people who not onlyy worship him but have never played the game silly post..best player...why?..are we gonnas start pin-pointing his mistakes then?
Purely for the fact that he can gel the players together. He managed it at scum quite effectively. He's also not a big spender, which I think most would agree we don't really need a whole bunch of new players. Also, I don't think Redknapp is in for the long haul.
Looks like Harry Redknapp has already agreed a deal with QPR according to Sky Sports. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11711/8273686/Sky-Sports-understands-Harry-Redknapp-has-agreed-QPR-deal-to-succeed-Mark-Hughes
Come on people. We've seen Taarabt defending this season and doing it quite good. Yes he hog the ball maybe too much but he's a great dribbler and passer so I don't think he'll have any problems with Harry if he comes to QPR
Younger, hungrier and if it all goes tits up he has recent experience of the championship and will be more likely to hang around to try and get us back up without us having to change our manager yet again. Also for those who thinks this is a 'silly' post then sorry but I wanted to put a different spin on the reasons for who we want as a new manager. I also feel Taarabt staying is vital to us staying up, I agree he is not God and yes one man doesnt make a team but alot of successful teams have a talisman and like or not Taraabt is our talisman.
There are a few rumours floating around that RDM is in line to take over....and some say he is a better manager! Surely not?
