Flabby face has been running his mouth about other teams players again and possibly "taking them"

God I dislike this man. Anyway, he flaps:

    http://www.london24.com/sport/tottenham/spurs_boss_admits_interest_in_newcastle_star_1_1170685

Speaking at this morning's press conference, the Spurs boss responded to the latest transfer rumours.

And Redknapp concedes that Ba, who has scored 15 goals for the Magpies so far this season, will have plenty of suitors in this months window.

"Demba Ba's done great hasnt he, everybody's looking at him suddenly," said the manager. "Anybody could have had him a year ago. Full credit to Alan Pardew, he took him.

"He's done a fantastic job what a strike-rate he's got. He's probably the most in-form striker anywhere at the moment.

"They say there's a release clause in his contract that's what we all hear. He's certainly done well and it will be interesting to see what happens there, but at the moment he's doing great things for Newcastle.

"He's off to play in the African Cup of Nations now [for Senegal], so he's going to be away for a month or so so thats a difficult one.

"At the moment Newcastle have got him and Im sure Alan wants to keep him. He'd be disappointed if he had to lose him. He would be difficult to replace."

Release clause? There's a new angle on Demba Ba possibly leaving. Trust good old 'Arry to 'know' these things.

    sure Ba cant go anywhere.
    1. he's at ACoN
    2. He cant play for 3 clubs in a year.

He's safe til Summer and then all we need to do, is bump up his contract and give him the infamous No.9 Shirt. Who wouldnt stay for that! Also if we are in Europe (fingers crossed) then theres no way he would work so hard to put us there, just to leave. He seems like a really nice guy and he couldnt stop talking about how much he appreciated us for giving him a chance even though other clubs wouldnt. I reckon he will remember that for a long time.

"To rock the boat, don't rock the boat Harry
Rock the boat, don't tip the boat over
Rock the boat, don't rock the boat Harry
    Rock the boat"

Typical of this saggy twat. Not that we can moan about taking advantage of release clauses or unfortunate situations, Cabaye and Ba anyone! Still though, anyone but him. I can't believe we could have been stupid enough to allow a release clause. The only one they should have given him was a relegation release clause.

Jesus, he's one of the most disrespectful managers around when it comes to talking about other teams' players. Mind you, wasn't Pardrew about naughty about the proposed Maiga transfer in the summer?

Nah, not even 50m would make me want to see the back of Demba. Not because I think he is worth more generally speaking, but as a representation of what sort of a club we are, he is worth everything. He's a revelation for us and really represents a certain renewed confidence in our players and fans, he is a new signing who is one of (if not THE) best players in the team. If we were to sell him this window for any sort of money, it would seal what so many fans already think of Ashley and Llambias and create a real bad taste around the place. We absolutely wouldn't see that money instantly reinvested, it would be spread out slowly over the course of the next few seasons under the guise "we never said it would be invested right away did we?".

He can't play for 3 clubs in a season, he hasn't played for West Ham this season, think I'd take with a pinch of salt, suggests to me Redknapp is scared of us.

Have faith in Pards, he will be all over this. Same with MA, he wont let anyone go cheap. Expect a new deal to be done once DB gets back.
