6 goals in his last 7 games. 5 of which came from the bench!

29 mins vs Braintree (sub) 1 goal
26 mins vs Gateshead (sub) 1 goal
    90 mins vs Eastleigh (started)
37 mins vs Halifax (sub) 1 goal
    19 mins vs Aldershot (sub)
62 mins vs Chester (sub) 1 goal
85 mins vs Kiddy (started) 2 goals

348 mins played over his last 7 games that he was involved in. Put those minutes together and that makes 3 full 90 minute games and 78 mins of a 4th game.

Scoring 6 goals in less than 5 games. He is averaging a goal every 58 minutes that he is on the pitch!!!!

I tipped him to get 20 goals this season, don't know how many he has but he has I Believe a good future at the Rovers. Keep up the good performances 13 to date Ellis.7 goals 3 games should equal 3 wins no pressure
Well done Jon for recognising his talent and sponsoring him through FFS

Ellis needs confidence that's why we needed to Sponsor him.

On a personal note i'm pleased that Ellis did something i told him to do last summer - try to ignore the haters and prove the doubters wrong. I think he has.

Maybe it's just that i have more of an affection for players that came through our academy, but i am proud what Ellis, Tom and Ollie have achieved in just a few short years. Much was demanded of them last season and again this season, i think sometimes we need to remind ourselves they're still very young.

Ellis, in my opinion has scored probably the most important goals at important times this season and has been extremely patient sat on a bench when he knows he could do so much more starting. Much is said of Ellis' character etc, but just ask anyone who has met him including myself cause you won't find a nicer lad. Pirate 49 will tell you i won't have a word said against the lad.

Keep doing your thing Ellis - Top baller.

I have never had the pleasure of meeting him, but whenever I have seen him play this season he always gives 100% last season he looked totally brassed off what ever he did or tried to do if it didn't come off you could almost sense the lack of support and almost see his confidence drain away. you stuck your neck out when you sponsored him and your faith has been repaid with goals and quality performances.

He's an absolute gem and it's great he's hitting form right now.
