Bristol Rovers winger Ellis Harrison will face no further action over a rape allegation. The 20 year old was taken in for questioning by Avon and Somerset police last March, along with a then 21 year old man, following claims made by two women. Harrison was bailed pending further investigation by detectives several times and was due to answer bail again later this month. But police spokesman Martin Dunscombe confirmed today: âBoth men have been released from bail, without charge, and no further action will be taken.â Both the club and the player are now hoping to put the months of uncertainty behind them and push on for the rest of the League Two season. A club spokeswoman said: âWe are very pleased that the charges have been dropped. We can now put this matter behind us and Ellis can now concentrate on his football.â http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/Bristo...cleared-rape/story-20575737-detail/story.html
