Isn't the rumour that he's off to WBA? I hope he stays, he is our most loyal player and it would be nice to let him finish up here.

I believe that he might well go, rather than return to No 2, behind Krul. I think that Fraser Forster may also go, if the price is right, leaving our goalie back-up in the shape of Soderberg and Alnwick.

I'd love to see Harper given a job at the academy, or as GK coach.

Just doesn't seem right to move on now after all the years he's been here. Plus with all the talk of interest in Krul and Forster we could end up going from being in a very strong position for goalkeepers to being in a critical one.

Plus he's likely to get a good benefit game arranged for all his loyalty.

Think it's more likely to be Forster

Send them Forster on loan surely. He will either come back a proven Prem GK and we can A: Play him or B: Sell him for a hiked up price. Or he will be **** and we can sell him to Celtic

Forster on loan has to be the way forward. I just hope he'll agree to another loan move and not demand a permenant transfer.

harper has been here ages as no.2 i dont see why he would leave unless AP told him he would be our no.2 this year to krul. i wouldnt place his loyaty on par with shearers or anything harper has never been offered a chance to leave nufc for a bigger club as far as im aware, hes just stayed here as our number 2 for a number a years. dont get me wrong i love harps just thought id point that out.

could actually see him leaving because you know how we are aiming for youth in this team and if krul and forster were unsettled at lack of first tema football the club may decide to let our oldest keeper leavin in order to keep hold of the potential we have in goal

Harper's had a number of offers, he could have gone to Spurs in the relegation season. He said he often asked to be sold when he was sat behind Given but SBR always convinced him to stay on.

oh right never knew that, so asking to be sold doesnt make him our most loyal player then ...
