I'm not too sure on this one. He was deemed good enough for Newcastle for a bit, and he seemed to do really well for Rangers. He also checks the box for a younger player with a decent future, so he might be worth a bid.

Apparently, he's pretty cocky, but can largely back it up when he's played. Under Cotterill he could be an inspired signing.

We're probably frontrunners to land him too. Rangers can't afford ****, the Hull City owner is probably sulking that he couldn't change the clubs name again, and Bolton seem to only have a passing interest in him. I imagine he'd rather stick with Rangers considering he was by far their best player last season, but if we come calling for him I reckon he'd definitely pick us.

I've watched a few clips of him, and he deserves better than the Scottish Championship. He looks like a lower-league Ronaldo, but hopefully he doesn't have the diva attitude of Ronaldo.

That's exactly what we don't want.

i'm sure there's a lot more going on behind the scenes that we or the BEP know about. Cotts is astute enough to understand that what he did last year is now old news - football is fickle, especially with managers. If we stutter and are basement dwellers, the axe will fall. To avoid that scenario, the squad must be improved. That's surely motivation enough for him.....

The truth is that any player linked to City could be the best thing since sliced bread, or a pudding, dependant on supporters appraisals. Until they have 4 or 5 games under their belt the jury will be out and based on that we have to trust the judgement of SC to see through any veils of pretention on the player's part.

Only one thing counts and that is are they prepared to give 100% for BCFC every game or are they to be cast upon the pile of previous failures that litter the halls of Ashton Gate? The difference between those that succeed and those who fail is attitude.

This generally applies to ANY club, and ANY transfer.
How often have we seen it - big player and highly thought-of, who just doesn't turn up.

Any player who comes here (Ronaldo or otherwise) is a blank canvas. The real deal starts when they run out onto that pitch with a City shirt on. Then they have to prove themselves

Right on brightred and it's a shame that these types of players litter the entire league. How many City players over the last 15 years have earned the right to be called a true BCFC footballer?

In reality probably only the first 11 from last year and the other odd hero like Louis Carey

Bit Harsh :), you also have the last promoted squad in the last 15 years plus the likes of Albert, Jon Stead, Marvin Elliot and Cole Skuse I believe could fall into that category as well

Like I said, there's not many that qualify, and I'd question Stead, Skuse and Albert being anywhere near approaching legend status

Every Newcastle fan I've spoke to seems to have nothing but good things to say about Vuckic, which is starting to fill me with hope.

I reckon we'll be an outside bet to land his signature, but if we can guarantee first-team football (and with fifteen players, I think that's a given) I can see him thinking about signing for us. Hopefully we'll see some news soon.

We had him on loan at Cardiff. Didnt really shine but showed glimpses of quality.

Put it this way hes much better than JET.

Didn't the Brighton supporters say that El-Abd was a good player and they would miss him?
