If we can get Hargreaves and keep him fit (a big ask on the fitness I know) then our midfield will finally have the steel that we sadly missed last season and could be what we really need to get a grip on this division and destroy it.
Would be nice, but he would be replacing Wellens, King or Danns, unless there's a formation change of some sort. Im not sure hes needed, especially if hes after Man U size wages.

Speaking to a guy on the phone today and found that he works at Old Trafford part time in the directors lounge. Said that Hargreaves had lost a lot of weight, but by the time the end of season party came round he was looking really fit and had gained his physique back. Gotta say that if he is fit, he would be the first name in our midfield.
He's not consistent enough. He's not a holding midfielder. He's not as good as Hargreaves. Would love Hargreaves to join, with him sitting deep King/Wellens/Danns could push on and do what they do best. He's a top quality footballer. That said, 2 factors can't be ignored: He's injury prone and I don't think he wants to come to us sadly.
Yes we have spent money but getting hargreaves would be some kinda marker to throw down to the rest of the championship gotta be on pay as you play tho or one year deal sven`s not stupid unless owen agent is a fake sheikh

Then, a new member called PW11 appeared on Foxestalk giving the same information. At the time he/she was questioned on whether PW11 stood for 'Paul's wife 11'. He/She just answered by saying he/she believed the fans should know more than they do. You could also almost hear the girly giggle which accompanied this comment. Also, Hayley Gallagher's Twitter name includes the number 11. Elementary my dear Not606.
A fit Hargreaves would be head and shoulders above any midfielder in the division, but can you really see him being fit? As remote a chance as Jimmy Bullard being fit!
It would be abit of a gamble (fitness wise) BUT he´s a free agent so not alot to lose especially if we get him on a PAYP deal.
I think if he's willing to take a PAYP deal then a Prem team will come in for him (unless Uncle Sven can charm Owen). Don't suppose you fancy taking Bullard and Olofinjana from us? It would save us £70k+ a week

You're looking at a different level now ed. Despite some leg-pulling Sven is a proven manager at the highest level.
