Our manager stated that we should aim to be a team that is hard to beat earlier in the season, and we have proved that.Apart from the top-three,and Arsenal,we have lost the least games in the league. The problem is that we can't win games. Why not?Is it our tactics?Do we just set-up too negative? Our main striker in young Connor is being played on the left wing, and a duffer called Altidore is being played up-front.....he couldn't hit a barn door if it was in front of him....he'd fall over his legs first!!So,who or what is to blame??We have got to start winning games soon.I am a big fan of Gus,but I feel he needs some help. What do you lads and lasses think??

I want to see Mandron and Watmore being on the bench and used as impact subs..Give Wickham a few games in his preferred role as well..

Little bit of everything really, tactics, team selection, resources, player's bottle.

We need to be patient, last season was the best of times and the worst of times, but one thing we were was all over the shop. The first aim of any new manager is make their team tough to beat so Gus has gone about it like any manager would. He's succeeding too. Now he has to work on our offensive play but with the limited budget it's just not going to happen overnight. One thing is for certain, We need a bit of stand out quality in the final third. Ball is in Short and Congerton's court as far as I'm concerned. Ellis has to see we need some attacking investment.

As per Bri's comments, it is a bit of eveything.

We are set up to play with wingbacks, and both of ours are long-term injury lay-offs. Vergini and Rev are solid defensively but do not offer the attacking options we need going forward. When will young Robson be ready?

Our most creative players up top have also been injured all/most of the season - Giacc, Alvarez only slowly adapting. We need another dynamic player in this department the most, especially if chance creation is dependent on this position when we are without genuine wingbacks. Introduce Watmore to run at people.

Strikers are not good enough (Jozy, DG), coming back from injury (Fletch) or out of position (connor). Get shot of the first two, and the latter 2 should thrive off a better all-round team effort. If we can't find a new player in Jan, try to introduce Mandron but i think it is still too early for him. I can understand the case for Borini, much as it loathes me to say it.

The Duffer's association of Great Britain have contacted the mods and asked that whoever posted this is banned for life saying it is a very unfair comparison

When Giacca is back he will improve our goal-scoring potential, until then play Fletch in the role he plays for Scotland with Conner up front.

Wickham played up front against Spurs & Burnley & Altidore has only started 2 prem games this season so if Altidore is a duffer then Wickham is one to <laugh>
