    Blackburn chief hints Henning Berg could be axed to make way for Mark Hughes' return - Mirror Online

    Blackburn Rovers manager Henning Berg has had more pressure piled on him by the club’s global advisor Shebby Singh.

    Singh claimed Berg could be sacked quickly and an out-of-work boss brought in to keep alive their *promotion dream.

    Berg was appointed after Steve Kean left but has won just once in nine games and is under fire from all quarters – forcing his mentor into his shock new admission.

    Singh told a group of Rovers bloggers that “a manager is available now who wasn’t at the time of Henning’s *appointment and we have looked at him” – with former boss Mark Hughes in the frame.

    Meanwhile, forgotten man David Goodwillie has made his Blackburn comeback – with a two-goal blast against old foes Celtic.

    The Scotland striker has not played for two months since he was sent back from a loan spell with Crystal Palace and put in limbo.

    But Goodwillie – signed from Dundee United – scored twice in a friendly with Celtic behind closed doors in Glasgow as Rovers won 3-2.

    I expected it to go over Cerny's head because he's slower than a clock with no battery. But you ANDY?!!!

    The silly argument above is North's and he trots it out every time someone posts up an article, including me. Yet he goes and does the same thing!!

    It was an attempt at sarcasm that obviously didn't work!
