Morning Troops, Is today the day? Has Ken finally found his pen, has he got ink in it??? Not a bad week really. a week last Saturday Forest lost their unbeaten run, then we beat Everton in the Cup in midweek, and was capped off nicely with an away win at Aston Gate. Norris was back on the bench on Saturday, and apparantly Green is not far behind, Phheewwwwww... Becchio has now played 200 games for us, netting 74 times, not bad eh!!! We continue to be linked with stikers in the loan market, lets hope the takeover happens quickly, and we get to find out who our new owners actually are....
Morning Elland. What a weekends sport eh? Great win at Bristol followed by a marvellous Ryder Cup and lets not forget the scum losing to cap it all. Not sure when takeover will happen though. Ive a feeling, given the amount of time Bates is spending at Elland Road, he could be busy covering his tracks and shredding documents before he leaves. Needs to be done before end of international break to give Neil a boost in transfer market
Morning all Great week of football for us, maybe more determination and grit than flair and creativity, but 3 wins including the Everton one makes me very happy and more optimistic about what lays ahead. Norris back on the bench, and Green coming back may just be their opportunity to stamp their places in the team before any potential investment, and we get a bit of depth back which is always nice! My only concern is that people keep raving about our back 5 and how much stronger it is, possibly even back 6 if you include Austins omnipresence on the pitch, but we are leaking goals at a shocking rate. Once again on Saturday it was heart in mouth time for the last few minutes, would much rather tighten up and get the points a little easier!!
Morning all - Great few days and week sport wise for me, Leeds beat Forest, we then beat Everton, news filters through that the T/O has edged closer, Saints rugby union won on Friday as well as the Rhinos making the grand final, a 3rd consecutive Leeds win topped off with the turn around in the Ryder cup and if I wanted to throw in a small added bonus it was funny seeing the Hull fans come crashing back down off cloud 9 with two consecutive defeats, one to relegation fodder Peterborough
Dont forget Man U - Lost Town - Lost Norwich - Lost Sheff Wed - Lost All to go with other achievements by the Rhinos and United plus Ryder Cup What a weekend
Not only that, Brighton lost as well! And having stayed over in Brighton Friday night with the missus listening to some Brighton twat giving it the biggun it made it all the sweeter
We are stronger at the back, the problem we've got now is we're inviting pressure on ourselves due to very little outlet.
