Me and my best mate who has now sadly passed, always celebrated St Georges Day and always made sure we wasn't in pubs when the plastics came out to celebrate Paddy's day that had **** all to do with 'em.

I've never thought about it before, but it turns out we have a Female Patron Saint too. She's a Yorkshire lass too.

Yes mate Vern, he had a massive stroke on the way home from the shops and was found outside his flat. He was in I.C.U. for two weeks but sadly his Daughter had to give permission to unplug the machines. This came as a massive shock because with the way my health is we all thought i'd be next to go and not him.Your mate that was to be seen in Ebenezer's with you? When I refer to my Daughter on here it's actually Vern's Daughter but she looks on me as her second Dad but calls me Pops.
