Happy new year guys. Times have been bad, and there seems no sign of a change in sight, but hey, we have Charlton, for better or for worse, and our forum to make merry on. Always look on the bright side of life.
I’m on parental taxi duty tonight for my sons. A nice drive to East London scheduled for me at around 3am, and a car full of puking teenagers. Worth it though to know they get home safely.
Yeah, I can relate to that. My daughters are too young just now, but I dare say they'll be demanding lifts to and from the night life in a few years, and for my own peace of mind, I'll be doing just that. Have a good night anyway!!
"Just sell the club". One of the last songs blaring out of The Bricklayers in Bromley was a certain Dave Clarke 5 number, I had to leave my beloved in there whilst ****ers(not palice ****ers I will add) in there were bouncing around to the thing
Top night out in the Bricklayers Arms/Bromley. Nice that Mr van Gerwen is aware of his parental s***. Annnnywayyyyy, Susan Ann Sulley girating to Electric Dreams on YouTube is very pleasing on the eye, and sobering the drunken midget!
As a perfect start to the New Year, I would encourage everyone to log onto Twitter, and listen to this great story about the late Ray Wilkins RIP Ray.
And to you Ernie , think this is the year you get some airborne bum action without a transaction.. I can feel it my tiny purple headed lager induced warrior
Happy New Year to all Charlton 606ers. I went to bed at 9.30pm last night and slept in till 9am, so it was a pretty low-key affair for me. Life without booze makes for dull celebrations. I'm off to watch Basildon v Canvey Island.
You don't need alcohol to have a good time, I welcomed in the new year with great nephews and nieces …. sober
