Just popped in to say.. still alive and happily kicking and wish everybody a happy New Year. Enjoying this Silva roller coaster be it hi lo its always got a Silva lining... Will not stay long as I see the same old political sniping carries on so... Happy New Year and champions league is still possible.....
A very happy New Year to you and your family Aberdeen. I should stick around....political sniping is, after all, confined only to a couple of threads. We could move dodgy threads onto the Luton board (there's nobody on there) - actually, there were 2 at one time but they managed to have a row !
...... and to you Aberdeen.... (and as Cologne said you can just ignore the threads you dont like....) What lies ahead for WFC in the next year? I fully expect us to stay in mid-table by season end Possible predictions? Silva to move on? TD to go Richarlison and Doucore to stay for one more season.....
Couldn't resist even though the opening lyrics are how a lot of people will be feeling when they wake up on New Years Day:
Once again a Happy New Year to all on here, and guests passing by. May our Hornets rediscover the honour it is to play for us and may Norwich join us next year for Dave. NZHorn is already there so belatedly for him......Frenchie and myself are up next. For our players (who I know read this ) - Bonne Annee iFeliz Ano nuovo Felice anno nuovo Frohes Neues Jahre Feliz Ano Novo Gelukkig Nieuwjaar Help I can't get the Greek letters - Kali chronya !
Happy New Year to all. We are off to a black tie event in St Albans tonight, not really looking forward to it but hopefully it should be worth it. I always seem to end up with ugly women kissing me (for the sake of my safety I exclude the wife from that list)
Happy New Everyone and especially to absent friends Aberdeen and Leo. and especially for Χολοβας - Καλή πρωτοχρονιά! May we beat some more big teams and get the needed 40 points.
Down here in Cadiz just got the meat ready for the oven and the veg done. Here in Spain it is a bit like a christmas dinner. Odd country. Anyways all the very best for the new year to you all.
Just finishing the cooking and then down to the local pub. Whatever you are doing and wherever you are have a good one and hope 2018 is all you want it to be. I actually had a pretty good 2017 so the law of averages would suggest 2018 will be awful
So we can all blame Dan for the next 12 months At least on the bright side playing Norwich in the championship will be fun
Some duck and turkey roll with pork stuffing and a fresh cranberry sauce tonight, but that is just to get the stomach ready for the feast tomorrow. I don't normally eat huge amounts, but this end of year seems to have taken on a life of its own. I really need to stop eating and get active again, but the weather forecasts are not looking very good for the week ahead.
please log in to view this image The sort of menu that is common for a feast tonight. The dancing will go on until maybe 4.00 am.
Nothing fancy here on the border. Burgers and hot dogs outside on the grill. May even have to put a light jacket on given the conditions. Wherever you are in the world - have a safe and successful 2018.
