A little early I know but I wont get on here tonight and I wont be here all day tomorrow either. I just want to say its been a tough year on and off the pitch for us gasheads... relegation to non league, coming to terms with being out of the football league, qualifying to play in the FA cup, being part of the FA trophy, losing to part time teams like Bath, Braintree and Altrincham and then delays with starting UWE because of the Nimbys and Sainsburys. However we end the year sitting pretty in 2nd looking to chase the current run away leaders Barnet. We have the best home record and best defensive record in the league. Apart from the odd poor performance, we are ending the year playing outstanding, dominating game and actually scoring goals! What will 2015 bring? A play off spot minimum, should be realistic. Possible trip to Wembley? Possible promotion via play offs or automatic? We should find out new about Sainsburys/UWE. The way the year is ending, that we apparently have a water tight contract with Sainsburys, and where we are in the table along with our form, the future looks very bright! I also want to add a massive thank you to you gasheads for your support on here. Some days hasnt been easy for myself but the well wishes and support from you all that I have received is truely appreciated. Also thank you all for coming back to our board. Its you lot who make this board what it is. Without you all, I wouldnt be here. Hopefully 2015 will see us grow with more active members. We have a lot of members but a lot have decided not to come back and some who just prefer to read along and not join in. Hopefully some will return and stay and hopefully more people will post. The more active members we have posting, the better this place will be. We have a lot of potential here in this site and its a shame that its not being fulfilled. Hopefully a good year with promotion and things progressing with UWE will get people posting. The last note is towards our mods. After I left being mod, the transition went smooth, much better than I hoped for. I thank all 3 of you for your hard work, dedication, time and effort you all put in Happy new year gasheads.
