Merry and healthy Christmas people, hope you have a great time with your families........happy and prosperous New Year and hope it's a decent year for our boys in red..
Best wishes from the colonies out here on a very unusually snowy Vancouver Island. May you and all your families enjoy the festive season followed by a great New Years.
wish you all a great christmas, just so envious off you all that get to see a few games over the festive season, will be there in spirit though,.
We are travelling to Calgary but are sitting at Nanaimo airport waiting for an already 3 hour late plane to land for boarding. Hopefully we will get off some time today but this record snowfall for the west coast has disrupted flights all across the country, and the expected overnight temperature in Red Deer, where our family live, will be -40C. The high tomorrow will be -28C, or colder, so enjoy your balmy weather you lucky so and so's.
I wonder how they coped in 1898 ? My grandfather went there and returned for WW1 never to go back! He was a cowboy near Calgary ... I have some of his cowboy outfit in the attic ..

Hope you all had a great day and father Xmas brought you some lovely gifts. Hopefully Santa Pearson will give us three points tomorrow. Always believe
It will be sad if he does, it always is when we sack a manger as it means he, and the club have failed, and it happens too often. If not making the top 6 is sacking worthy, then constantly being in the bottom 6 has to be, even with adjusted expectation due to our financial position. If he does go today/tomorrow, then it’s a big failure from SL for me. I think as much as we all wanted him to succeed, I think we have seen this season that he probably can’t, so we just lost a month of a new manager working with the squad to identify who he wants in what formation, and who is needed to come in, in Jan. This club seem to lurch from one bad decision to another….
Wrong decision playing King at centre back. Vyner in the middle and Tanner on the right. Weimann behind the front two. Nige your a stubborn man if this doesn’t work the fans will be after you.
