Oh dear looks like it could be a long afternoon, we lack so much quality and invention. The midfield marking has been shocking so far
Never been particularly impressed with Skuse, much prefer Hyam, who gets stuck in and puts himself in players faces. The football from us in the first half was poor. Lots of balls in the air and we seem to have problems linking defence with attack. I would actually rather see Tabb in the middle than Skuse.
Could do with an creative CM like Wordsworth on the pitch....oh The goal was offside though replays show. Bit unlucky there, if I was Mick I'd be pretty annoyed with Gerkin he should've taken Grabbans head off to get that ball!!
SD i dont want to see either, Hyam by far best midfielder!! We are in for a long season if this is what we have to offer!! Oh and btw, Norwich are ****, which kinda tells you where we are!! Thing is because Hyam is expected to be the player to show more intention on the ball when Skuse plays we aren't playing to his strengths. Hyams an all action midfielder who could do with a playmaker next to him or at least a playmaker who shows some sort of guts and purpose on the ball. Norwich are playing the opposite of us, good all round play but when it gets to the final third there's noone in the box, we're playing the percentages, our all round play is pretty dire but look how many people we get in the box. Still a tight game, Norwich going ahead doesn't play to our strengths though!!
Not being funny or anything, but you played some dreadful football today. I wouldn't be happy if that was what was being served up at Carrow Road every week.
