    Almost went unnoticed.

    Perchy is 28 today. He seems to have been around for ages, I'd have taken him to be older than that.

    He didn't do too good for us when he first arrived from Forrest and took quite a bit of stick, but he knuckled down and won most of the fans over.

    Perch's first game against us for Forest had him keeping Jonas in his backpocket the entire game, and prompted Chris Hughton to sign him. At first it looked like a terrible signing, but eventually Perch proved his worth. Gutted when he left us.

    Probably first English player to get a Brazilian nickname ?

    Was at that game and he was MOTM, had a great game against us. The powers that be acted faster then than they do now, they saw somebody they wanted and went out and got him.
