That fall was back in early April, if it is still troubling him it must have been a lot more serious than was described at the time! I hope he can make a full recovery, he is without doubt one of the very nicest men I have met!

This is when: http://www.watfordfc.com/news/article/141129-graham-taylor-stand-celebration-1763333.aspx I was one of the first youngsters in the Family Enclosure and I always remember him at the Junior Hornets Xmas parties willing to assist those in charge of the JH with showing the children to their respective tables when they arrived and with organising the games. If there were any children hurt or upset, he would always have a word with them. The first party after I was diagnosed with epilepsy and he was told, he said that he hoped I would still be able to take part fully.
Many happy returns to the man. I've had the privilege of speaking to him on several occasions: once on a players night at Bailey's; once at the services on the way back from a heavy defeat at Roker Park; once the night we failed to sign a Russian international we'd been after for months, he was well honked off but didn't let on why; and a long conversation outside a blood donor clinic in Rickmansworth a while after that life threatening throat infection. A real gentleman.
