How many pairs of socks did he get for his birthday I wonder.........still only 33yrs old.....could be still playing somewhere else of course. What did his benefactor James buy him for his birthday.........subbuteo maybe. OK joking over.......hope that he is well rested..... and planning his future life in whatever sphere he has chosen. Has anyone heard about him since his TV appearance the other month.....and where is he living these days.
100% the reason we are fighting for league survival this season!! If it was not for this Welsh sheep worrier we would be happily sat mid-table in the BSP this year.
I agree with you Mexijan, Sheridan is doing well at the moment and good luck to him but Fletcher helped pull us out of the nose dive out of the league and into administration, both as captain and as manager. And the signs of a better style of play were there in 2012/13 before he got the sack. Let's not forget what now looks like one of the best player changes that's been made since Fletcher left, Purse out and Branston in was done to save money.... which many moaned about at the time. As it's happened, it's turned out to be a master-stroke on the pitch as well as off but that's not down to Sheridan.
The results are down to Sheridan, it fletch was still here we would have been dead and buried weeks ago. I agree he kept us up and thank him for that. If Sheridan was appointed a lot earlier we may have been in the playoffs!! we had recently wins on the bounce, some thing fletch could only dream about.. he never had it.. good luck to him and happy birthday
I don't wish the guy an ill and am happy to give him birthday greetings. I'm still glad he is history though and would add that if previous getting out of the mire was down to Fletcher then any success now must be down to Sheridan. What I would say about Fletcher is he did what was needed in the season he took over. All poweer to him for that. But, he failed to build on it and became another failure in the long line of failures we have had more recently. It was time for him to go and he went not a minute too soon. One decision I give credit to Brent for even if he took far to long to make it.
