At the end of the day, it was basically the British v the British with a few French chucked in for good measure.
I am sure some of them were. Anyway, it doesn't matter where they were born, my point is they were all "British" to a certain extent. Just like every single president of the USA(apart from one) has connections to Britain or Ireland.
