Happy 46th to one of our old boys.

We don't hear so much of him now but one of our favourite, home grown stars of yesteryear is 46 today.

Gazza, the tormentor of opposition defences is just four years away from his half century.

A great natural talent but not always on the same wavelength as his team mates.

I hope he's won his battle with the demon booze.

Let's hope there are many more to come, great footballer, nice guy but sadly the drink has had too much of a negative effect on him.
