His dad owns a burger van near little monkeys! Me and my mates go and play football on there and we've spoke to him about it haha! He's not just bullshitting either, confirmed it with Danny on Twitter a while back:emoticon-0102-bigsm he took the banter well about his dads burger van.

Goes to show the gulf in class. Was Chester already at Carlisle when he was 21?

Chester was only on loan @ Carlisle but yes I agree the gulf in class is substantial

He was at Carlisle when he was 21, he'd also played for Peterborough and Plymouth when he was 20.

I think we need to cut our losses with the majority of our "young lads" who aren't exactly that young any-more and have very little experience. They may well come good and sell on clauses should be put in any deals we manage to get for them, but in our current position they simple arent going to make the grade.

Hopefully the 16-17 year olds which are coming through will be better nurtured.

If someone would have Cullen, I'm pretty sure Bruce would get rid. Probably the same for birthday boy East

Surely a league two would have Cullen, oh wait, Bury....

I guess East cant have impressed at Northampton either.

Its a crying shame. Cullen is obviously a natural finisher, you dont score that amount of goals (in the ressies, or anywhere else) without having a certain amount of skill. Its a shame that hasnt been honed. A poacher is exactly what we are needing at the min.

Cullen's gone to Stevenage, East had good reviews at Northampton but they signed an experienced defender, I think Clark Carlisle, so that's why he was sent back.

He went on loan for the month of September, but they extended it until 5th January and he played 19 times, which I suspect was every game while he was there.

East did impress at Northampton, I saw a lot of footage of him getting forward a lot in their highlights of their games.

Impressed so much he hasnt been resigned till the end of the season? Perhaps the hold-up is they are negotiating a perm move?

Only four players at Northampton have made more appearances than him this season, they've deleted him from their site so I can't check his other stats, but he definitely impressed there.

I heard he came back injured and that is why he hasn't gone on loan for the rest of the season, I wouldn't let him go permanently if I were Bruce.

I just checked and he did come back injured(he's done something to his back), but he started some light gym work on Monday and he hopes to be able to resume training shortly.
