The ten happiest places in the UK are: 1. Harrogate, Yorkshire and the Humber 2. Inverness, Scotland 3. Taunton, South West 4. Stockport, North West 5. Falkirk, Scotland 6. Norwich, East Anglia 7. Hull, Yorkshire and the Humber 8. Preston, North West 9. Truro, South West 10. Telford, West Midlands Falkirk? Away to ****! http://news.stv.tv/highlands-island...ey/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
Try driving along the M9 tired and day-dreaming when the massive Horse Heads appear out of nowhere, drove past them twice and have been startled both times. Too many Mafia movies for me.
Telford, Hull and Stockport are a bit random. Can't really speak for Falkirk as never been there but the other places are nice enough. Still, it just says that they're the happiest rather than nicest - could be any number of reasons for it i suppose.
Reminds me of the time that Ruud van Nistelrooij's wife called the police about Mafia intimidation after waking to find a hideous horse's head on the pillow beside her.
The people polled from Inverness are most likely all auld wee free nutters. If you're under 40 and you find Inverness a happy place to live then you're a ****ing borefest. The licensing laws are prehistoric and you can't get **** all to eat after 10pm.
Very stupid people are often quite happy, too dumb to realise that they are so moronic and dull that they should be miserable, but somehow nothing perturbs their amoeba like brain and they relentlessly soldier on in a state of ignorant bliss.
