I agree on his strength. He's actually gained good strength compared to a year ago. And of course, he's still only 16 years old. His development will be fascinating in the next year. If he continues in this fashion, he will be knocking on first team's door by the time he's 18.

Under 21s just knocked Salford City out of the EFL Trophy (northern League) with a 0-6 scoreline. Mejbri scored one and assisted one but ran the game. Helm scored two and assisted one. 3 goals in 4 minutes finished the game (70-74) but it sounds like we had a good night overall.
Why is it always the case that we shy away from bringing standout young players through the system into the first team. Mejbri is also going to be 18 in four months. At Dortmund, Bellingham is now performing yet we were desperate to bring him into the first team even though he’s younger than Mejbri. Sancho that we are now fighting to now get started there at a very early age. Rooney was already main name on first team sheet at Everton by his 18th birthday. If the kid is good enough to compete, bring him in and let me start getting some tactical minutes. Even at 17, he’s probably far better than Jesse in the team.
