Hareet lads. Mackem in peace. I'm looking for a Fulham defender to put in my Fantasy Football team and it's basically a toss up between Hughes and Hangeland. Am I right in thinking Hughes has been out injured for a while, but has played the last 2 games and he is likely to be first choice if you had all fit centre halves to choose from? Cheers.
It's not as straightforward as that. Hughes and Senderos have been competing all season, with Senderos probably getting the nod more often than Hughes. Opinion on this board is divided as to which of them should play (I'm in the Senderos camp, for what it's worth). Senderos was fit for last weekend, but had been injured before that and was just coming back, so his absence isn't necessarily a sign that Jol is now preferring him. If you want to be sure of a centre-back, it's got to be Hangeland. If any defender will do, Stephen Kelly has been playing regularly and is cheaper than any of the aforementioned (at least, if you're playing the same version of fantasy football that I am). by the way, young McLean has been doing wonders in my fantasy side. Thanks!
Cheers boys. I must confess though, if you're confused the title of the article should be Senderos vs Hughes. Hangeland is always a regular. But at 6 mil, I need a cheaper option, if Kelly has been playing a lot recently then he could be worth a shout. McClean is tidy, usually good for an assist or a goal per game.
