What is it with unaccountable, corrupt and jumped up authorities on the continent!?! First we have Merkel and Sarkosy and now Sepp take a bung Blatter! FIFA have denied us the opportunity for our footballers to wear the poppy on their shirts next weekend. I find it ludicrous that we should be dictated to in this way. I suppose because FIFA is based in that bastion of neutrality in Switzerland they don't understand what armistice day means to millions of people across Europe. In the week where we have witnessed a poor sovereign nation being bullied into submission by Germany and France, I think we more than ever need to celebrate our freedoms and traditions. Isn't it about time that we pull out of this corrupt organisation once and for all and FIFA while we're at it. For a simple act of rememberance to be dismissed in this way is just appalling and highlights yet again the fact that FIFA is run by fools and morons. Millions died for our freedom and the FA should defy this obscene decision and damn the consequences.

Walky,a poor sovereign nation? There's many a Greek that is laughing at that. I agree that fifa is run by morons,but what can we do? St Pauls is booked until Christmas,Wall Street is busy........................ Anyway,the Christmas decorations are up in Harrods.That will cheer everybody up.
