Hang on. Haven't we just signed a £million pound player today?

    By the lord Jesus!!!!

Have we just forgotten we've just signed a £million pound player at 6pm this evening?

All this CMS / Stadium talk seems to have over-shadowed SSL joining the mighty foxes.

A player, at 26 years of age, who is smack bang in the "perfect age" zone, with his best mate at the club and still an international is now a fox. Forget last years supposed iffy form for a relegated PNE and other negative comments. He is a quality. He is considered, for the Championship at least, to be quality by many and all this still at the "perfect age" to prove himself at a higher standard if possible.

I say well done Sven. Good signing and a big welcome Sean from the Foxes faithful.

when people get impatient... remember these clowns are the fly in the ointment...the deal smith has signed at brighton, is it better for him or his agent? sven was around before they had influence in transfers the world over...this is why it seems things take an age...i don't think he has much time for these chiselers....its the right approach...do you think they mess red nose fergi around? lets be honest ..alot of players are not the sharpest knives in the drawer.....seen interviews of the lad st ledger seems decent enough...certainly a better "footballer" than hobbs at the moment..........but these players are young..sometimes they might not get the advice thats in their best interest....sven knows best.............

I'm just not particularly impressed with the signing, sorry. I've never rated St Ledger, this season or before. Mee, Mills and Vitor are better players.

I'm not writing him off or anything like that but I can't get excited about it either.

It's signings like Mills and Maynard that will be make or break and get me excited.

Not the signing of the year, but I wish him well. Not too fussed about missing out on CMS either. I think he´s abit scared to play for a big club in case he fails judging by who he´s turned down, Just my opinion.

I think he likes being the main man and none of the others clubs offered that and Brighton did

Nice try for the positive Dirkster, hijacked by the CMS saga. Back to SSL. Been a rated centre back for a few seasons now. As you point out, he is the right age. A three year contract for some of his best seasons. An opportunity for him to step up and play alongside other players with similar reputations instead of being the big name on the team sheet. Good signing by Sven, and filled one of the gaps that we all know exist. I still think we need 4 or 5 more to come in to mount a challenge for the title - 1 or 2 more defenders (other than Masilela), another midfielder and 2 strikers. The future's bright, the future's blue.

I think if you can get SSL head right he will be a great signing. He is like Matty Fryatt, a confidence player
