Two big handball shouts in the second half today? First one the entire South stand appealed for it, didn't really see it myself. Second one Sagbo headed it across goal into a dangerous area and their defender seemed to clear it with his arm? Seemed like a clear penalty to me but I've not seen anything mentioned about it. Did I see it wrong? Anyone watching on Sky see it or even know what I'm on about?
Yeah, both would've been harsh. It seems now, due to wrong decision being given in the past, that anything hitting the arm is seen as handball. That simply isnt the rule. Ive got no sympathy for officials though they've brought this on themselves by giving ****ty accidental handball as fouls previously.
I don't know what the rules say exactly, but if they say it can't be handball unless it's deliberate then it's a bloody farcical rule. Swansea scored a goal with their player's hand yet cos it's not deliberate that's not handball? He scored ffs!
I thought the first looked a stonewall penalty. I haven't seen the replays, but, ball to hand equals penalty.
