A good opportunity for a win here, especially with West Ham on a losing run of four consecutive home defeats. I think we're in for a scrappy game and it's tough to call the result here. I'll be optimistic, like the rest of you, and go for a nervy, backs-to-the-wall 1-0 Town win.
We struggled that half. West Ham absolutely smashing us down that right hand side. Not many good performances out there so far, but think O’Dea has been really solid (feed cut out on their second goal, so no idea what happened there). McKenna might need to change things up here, because we could’ve gone 3-1 or 4-1 down. Burns has been anonymous and has been poor tracking back. Need more solidity down that flank. Delap needs better support from Clarke and Hutchinson too.
Not happy with this display, piss poor imo. Hutchinson needs to be dropped, Burns looks overawed, crossing ****e and just not good enough. Jack Clarke not involved enough, thank feck for Delap!! Please please please bring Szmodics on to play number 10 role and either ogbene or hutch wide right, pref Hutchinson if he can replicate last seasons form out wide! Muric scares the bejeezus out of me, would much prefer Walton tbh.
