    Just wanted to see who liked who really because when Button underperforms, he doesn't seem to be slated as much as Hamilton.

    True, but can his fans do... He gets hatred from people all the time. Fans saying here "Just ban him hes a bastard". I have argued and got in enough trouble. I cannot be bothered to waste my time arguing with obvious mental health patients.

    Depends in what context, if they have the class of the field like RBR were last season, I'd probably back Button to win the title as his consistency (bad luck non attributable to him withstanding) over a season picking up the points would be crucial, but Hamilton without the best car could still win it like he did in 2008, I don't think Button could.

    Hamilton for me. Extremely exciting to watch regardless of results.

    Very good question Cameron. I can only guess that you have also provided the most accurate answer.

    I am surprised at anyone wanting to ask such a question, with so much evidence already 'out there' being discussed in umpteen Hamilton/Button, adolescent battlegrounds in every F1 forum.

    It would therefore be easy to conclude that this is a deliberate attempt to start yet another battle. However, I will concede to Schneiderlin that his poll has produced a very interesting result so far!

    <laugh>

    It has. I was literately laughing when I saw Jenson beating Lewis.

    But we all know who is more exciting... who is faster...who drives to the limit every time he goes out there.

    <ok>

    well, here is a bit of the problem, he doesn't just drive it too the limit, he frequently pushes it passed that limit and goes off/out, now he also has to contend with The Stewards hawkish eyes upon him. It's interesting to see that the fastest man on Sunday was actually Massa, which shows being fast now and again during a race isn't enough. I answered the thread in a WDC context, from a spectator POV Hamilton can really excite, or hugely dissappoint and frustrate in almost equal measure, Button seems a changed man this year, how many wheel to wheel battles is he having? less inclined to 'sit-and-wait' as before, can lapse into follow mode though, and become sleep inducing to watch, but then can pull out a drive like Canada.

    I'm a big Lewis fan but this doesn't mean I'm anti-Button: I'm pleased and proud whenever he wins, especially as he has become more exciting to watch. It's not very clever, this type of article; sorry if that's a bit rude. I remember well all the puerile threads on the BBC. RIP.

    It's chalk & cheese.

    They are different types of drivers and i like them both and enjoy watching them equaly.
    I also agree with quite a few posters who can't see the benefit of this Poll.
    I do wish however that Button would improve his Qualifying as Hamilton shows him up in that respect.

    I support Button more, but if I were a team owner I would try to get Hamilton in my team. I voted Button.
